James Harris will be the next speaker in the popular series of talks held by the CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket, with the online event taking on the evening of Thursday, 3 March.
“An Evening with James Harris” will start at 19:00 via ZOOM with the all-rounder reflecting on the highlights of his county career so far with Glamorgan and Middlesex as well as with various England age-group teams.
In particular, James will reflect on his dramatic first summer with Glamorgan’s 1st XI and how the seventeen year-old from Pontarddulais became in 2007 the youngest-ever bowler in the entire County Championship to take ten wickets in a match, as he returned match figures of 12/118 against Gloucestershire at Bristol. James will also be talking about his work off the field with the Professional Cricketers’ Association for whom he is now Chairman.
Attendance at this virtual event will be free of charge with those wishing to attend being asked to send an email to museum@glamorgancricket.co.uk by 17:00 on Wednesday, 2 March. A confirmation reply will be sent out, together with further instructions about the event on ZOOM and logon details.
We also welcome questions in advance so please send details of any questions for James to museum@glamorgancricket.co.uk . A recording of the talk will also be placed afterwards on the Glamorgan website, as well as on the Museum’s new website.
